FT Alphaville notes that nearly 33% of all equity volume never makes it to a public exchange!  Yay for price discovery.  Instead, it is “internalized” in trade action between broker-dealers.

In looking at the big picture of portfolio allocation, technical analyst Chris Kimble continues to see grounds for “capital preservation mode.”

At Seeking Alpha, Kirk Lindstrom points out that ECRI’s growth index has hit a 6 month high, though the Weekly Leading Index continues to lag.  ECRI remains of the believe that a recession is imminent.
