Support holds for JCP and PNPFF
I have noted before that I like both PNPFF and AABVF as undervalued small cap plays in the precious metals and natural resource arena. Recently, I also noted that PNPFF had fallen to the bottom trendline of a falling channel. Though I like the fundamentals of AABVF more (and its chart has held up well), PNPFF has sold off harder and may have more room to bounce in the short term. So far so good:
A turnaround play that has me interested is JCP. Ron Johnson, a retail “whiz” who helped bring Target into the big time, and conceived and executed the “Apple Store” idea, has been brought in as CEO. He will start in November. The stock is at trendline support, and so far has held it nicely.
